The biggest threats to humanity stem from the global community’s inability to deal with them effectively
Laszlo Szombatfalvy, a Hungarian-Swedish businessman, started The Global Challenges Foundation in 2012. He also initiated one of the world’s largest competitions in the social sciences. The goal was to find original proposals for new decision-making structures that could galvanise effective international action to tackle global catastrophic risks.
